After 22 years in Bedford and more than 30 in the UU ministry, I've seen the gamut of church fund-raising. Ice-fishing derbies, I caution you, do NOT work and especially not this year. I'll share more of what doesn't work, a little about what does work, and in any case - since I'm from out-of-town and have no personal investment in your stewardship efforts - I'll tell you the truth. Please come anyway. Today is Commitment Sunday, the culmination of the UUCR Annual Budget Drive, during which we all make a financial commitment to sustain our church for another year.
