About Our President:

Lorraine Dennis has been a member of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Reading (UUCR) since the mid-eighties. She has served on many committees over the years, including Religious Education, Membership, Building Usage, Program Council and the Governing Board. She and her husband, Steve, joyfully sing in the choir and raised their two children, Matt, 24, and Meg, 20, in the church. Her paying job is as the Executive Director of the Church of the Larger Fellowship (CLF), the Unitarian Universalist Church by mail and cyberspace with offices on Beacon Hill in Boston.

Lorraine says that she is honored to be leading the congregation in company with a governing board of very smart people, including our minister, Rev. Tim. 2006-2007 will bring many changes to our church life, culminating in the completion of our beautiful new building.
